# Route upload

Here is the procedure for uploading your route from the UgCS Desktop app (UgCS server) to your remote controller:

1. Open the UgCS Companion app on your remote controller, press the **Menu** button, and select **Routes**;

2. Select **UGCS SERVER** and tap on the project containing the required route;

4. The route will open and will be available for upload to the drone.

5. In the new window, confirm your route parameters.

**NOTE:**

* **Due to the specifics of the M300, M350, M30, and Mavic 3 Enterprise and M400 series drones, parameters indicated in this window (instead of those in the Desktop application) will be uploaded to the drone. If the route is uploaded from the Desktop application, the parameters set for the previous flight will be used.**
* **If takeoff is performed from ground level, do not add any Takeoff point altitude correction.**
* **If the route exceeds the limitations from the "Max Altitude" and the "Enable distance limit" fields, the route can't be uploaded. This also works if the route is uploaded directly from the Desktop application.**
* **For DJI M300: During route upload, UgCS Companion checks that the first waypoint is at least 5 meters above the takeoff location. This rule does not apply to true terrain following (rangefinder) routes.**

"Enable distance limit" can also be set also from UgCS desktop.
