Offline route

The Offline route function allows using only Android devices on the field. All prepared missions/routes can be saved and uploaded to the drone with the UgCS Companion application.

Downloaded routes can be uploaded, started, paused, and resumed directly from UgCS Companion. Both - normal and rangefinder (SkyHub) routes are supported.

NOTE: UgCS telemetry is available ONLY if the drone is connected to UgCS Desktop during the flight.

Here is how you can save your route to the local storage via UgCS Companion :

1. Create mission/route in UgCS Desktop;
2. Connect UgCS Companion to UgCS Desktop;
3. In UgCS Companion, on the bottom, tap on Routes;

4. In the UgCS Server tab, tap on the mission from UGCS SERVERand select the mission you want to save for offline use;

5. You will see the list of available routes within your selected mission. Tap on the triple dot icon of the route you want to save and tap on Make available offline;

6. Now the route is saved for offline use. Additionally, you will see a checkmark icon which means that the route has been successfully downloaded;

7. Press back arrow, tap the Local tab, and select your Mission;

10. Tap on your saved Route;

11. Upload the route to the drone;

12. In the new window, confirm your route parameters such as Starting waypoint, takeoff point, altitude correction, RTH altitude, and Maximum altitude as well as your RC loss failsafe;

NOTE: If takeoff is performed from ground level, do not add any Takeoff point altitude correction.

13. Tap Upload;

14. Once the route is uploaded, you can Start your route.

NOTE 1: While normal and SkyHub TTF routes can now be started from Companion, SkyHub Grasshopper routes have to be started from Custom Payload Monitor (CPM).

NOTE 2: Normal routes can be started with the drone on the ground. For SkyHub TTF and Grasshopper routes it is necessary to perform take-off manually and start the route when the drone is airborne.

NOTE 3: If you wish to delete the route from the local storage, press the dots icon near the route you wish to delete and select Delete local version
